About the job Consultant - Pediatric Intensivist (PICU)

We are looking for an experienced PICU Consultant - Pediatric Intensivist for a role in Riyadh.

Title:

  • Consultant Pediatric Intensivist ( PICU )

Location:

  • Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Qualifications:

  • MBBS
  • Successful completion of a residency in pediatrics.
  • American Boards, or Canadian, New Zealand, or Australian FRCS, or UK CCT or Diplome d'Etudes Specialises (DES), or CIS French Board, or Facharzt, and
  • Valid and current medical license/registration in North America, Western Europe, or Australia/New Zealand
  • A minimum of 5-7 years post-specialty certification ( PICU ) experience in the specialty area

Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years

License:

  • Valid SCFHS License as a Consultant (for Candidates within KSA)
  • For candidates applying from outside of KSA - should be eligible to have a medical license as per the SCFHS criteria.
  • Hold a valid medical license from your home country
Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive care to critically ill or injured infants, children, and adolescents
  • Manage complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, and neurological disorders
  • Provide advanced life support, including mechanical ventilation, invasive monitoring, and cardiac support
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, including providing updates on patient status and treatment plans
