Are you passionate about creating exceptional food experiences? Somewhere, a contemporary dining concept under Independent Food Company, is expanding in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – and we’re looking for culinary professionals to join our kitchen brigade.

We Are Hiring For:
  • Commis Chef (Hot/Cold)
  • Pastry Chef
  • Chef de Partie (CDP)
  • Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP)

Multiple locations across KSA

What You’ll Be Doing:

Depending on your position and section (hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry), responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in line with Somewhere brand standards.
  • Supporting daily kitchen operations across various sections (pastry, hot kitchen, cold kitchen).
  • Assisting in mise en place and service execution under the supervision of senior chefs.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Contributing to recipe development, innovation, and seasonal menu updates.
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to support cost management.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all dishes and baked goods.
  • Training and mentoring junior team members (CDP and DCDP levels).
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen (preferably in upscale casual or fine dining concepts).
  • Strong culinary and plating skills; knowledge of international cuisines is a plus.
  • For Pastry roles: experience in desserts, pastries, doughs, and chocolate work.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work within a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Passion, creativity, and a strong eye for detail.
  • Flexibility to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
