Requirements
  • Possess a Diploma in Special Education or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; entry-level position.
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated skills or experience in special education, preferably as a special education teacher or teacher assistant.
  • Experience or a strong interest in childcare and working with children with developmental needs.
  • Ability to work onsite in Simpang Ampat and commit to a full‑time schedule.
  • Passion for enhancing children's developmental skills through engaging and purposeful activities.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, in collaboration with parents, therapists, and other relevant professionals.
  • Adapt and modify general education curriculum to meet the unique learning styles and needs of each student, providing differentiated instruction and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social‑emotional growth, independence, and academic success for all students.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and behavioral management techniques to address specific learning challenges and promote student engagement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, using formal and informal assessments to track growth, identify areas for improvement, and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of student progress, IEP goals, and communication with parents and other professionals.
  • Collaborate with therapists (e.g., occupational therapists, speech therapists) to integrate therapeutic interventions into the classroom setting and support students' overall development.
