Job summary

A prominent real estate investment trust in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced legal counsel to manage contracts, compliance, and litigation. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Laws and possess 4-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in corporate law. Qualifications

• At least 4 to 7 years of relevant working experience.
• Admission to the UK and/or Malaysian Bar is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Substantial in-house legal experience with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Draft and finalize contracts for the retail property portfolio.
• Manage pre-litigation disputes and oversee litigation cases.
• Identify compliance risks and conduct training on compliance topics.
