This is an exciting opportunity to join the FX team at Bank of China (M) Berhad as an FX Sales Manager. In this full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for providing expert foreign exchange (FX) advisory services and solutions to the bank's corporate and institutional clients. Your strategic insights and exceptional client relationship management skills will be key to driving growth and profitability in this dynamic area of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Proactively identify and engage with prospective clients to understand their FX needs and risk management objectives
• Develop tailored FX strategies and product recommendations to help clients meet their financial goal
• Develop treasury products-related marketing strategies and sales plans
• Execute FX transactions and manage client accounts to ensure a high level of service and satisfaction
• Collaborate with other departments to provide clients with timely market intelligence and trade ideas
• Monitor market developments and regulations to ensure compliance and identify new business opportunities
• Contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the FX business unit

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in FX sales or trading, preferably within a major financial institution
• Strong understanding of FX products, currency markets, and client risk management practices
• Proven track record of building and maintaining long‑term client relationships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-specialists
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify client needs and develop tailored solutions
• PKMC dealing license is required
