A fintech and crypto startup in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Development Consultant. The role focuses on acquiring new clients and managing relationships within the financial services sector. Candidates should be fluent in English and Mandarin, with a minimum education of SPM or Diploma. The position offers opportunities for commissions and attendance at international exhibitions, with a young and dynamic work environment.
Minimum SPM / Diploma equivalent in related field.
Fluent in English & Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Knowledge in Fintech and Meta Trades is an added advantage.
Client handling experience in fund management companies or financial institutions selling consumer banking products is a definite plus.
Experience preferred but not essential.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to travel when required.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Must have a proven track record in a sales environment.
Carry out sales & marketing activities to acquire new clients ranging from large corporate enterprises in Financial/Meta Trades Services businesses.
Proactively source and secure potential institutional clients throughout SEA markets.
Manage client portfolios by providing market updates and maintaining good relationships with existing clients.
Build strong relationships, understand clients' businesses, present solutions, negotiate and close deals.
Work as part of a team, liaise with customers, and create solutions to meet their business needs.
Attend trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings.
Review sales performance and aim to achieve monthly and annual targets.
Commission up to RM10,000 per month.
Opportunities to attend overseas exhibitions, conferences, and meetings.
