Job summary

An international accounting firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a recent graduate or final-year student for an accounting role. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, handling accounting transactions, reconciling accounts, and monitoring cash flow. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure timely completion of monthly full set management accounts.
• Handle day-to-day operations of accounting transactions.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation of accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare and monitor the annual budget and forecast.
• Collaborate with other departments for accurate accounting data.
• Liaise with auditors and other regulatory authorities.

Prepare monthly reconciliation of accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies

Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow

Prepare and monitor the annual budget and forecast

Collaborate with other departments to ensure the delivery of timely and informative reports, the accuracy of accounting data, and improved efficiency

Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and other regulatory statutory authorities

Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by the supervisor
