Job summary

A leading agriculture company in Kuala Terengganu seeks an Estate Manager to supervise oil palm plantation operations. You will assist in planning, data collection, and ensure adherence to budget and sustainability certifications. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Agriculture with 3-5 years of management experience in oil palm plantation along with strong communication skills in English and Malay. Knowledge of RSPO and MSPO regulations is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in oil palm plantation management.
• Good understanding of RSPO and MSPO regulations would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Estate Manager in achieving a smooth running of oil palm plantation development.
• Supervise daily activities, including harvesting, maintenance and logistics.
• Assist in data collection for reporting and analyses.
• Support business planning for the next financial year.
• Ensure budget adherence with cost efficiency.
• Practice and update on RSPO & MSPO certification matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist Estate Manager in achieving a smooth running of oil palm plantation development in the company. Supervise daily activities, including harvesting, maintenance and logistics.
• Assist Estate Manager in the collection of data for reporting purposes and analyses for management.
• Assist Estate Manager to do business planning for the next financial year for that particular area of responsibility. To ensure budget well spend according to the allocated budget with cost conscious in mind.
• Assist Estate Manager to regularly practices & update on all matters pertaining to RSPO & MSPO certification to ensure we can sustain the certification every year

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent
• Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in oil palm plantation management
• Self Initiative, strong communication, and able to work in team with good attitude
• Ability to communicate in English and Malay
• Good understanding of RSPO and MSPO regulations would be an advantage
