Job summary

A facilities management company in Johor Bahru is seeking a qualified individual to manage all aspects of facility operations. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance and security, executing scheduled maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree, effective communication skills in English and Malay, and be adept at handling documentation tasks. Proficiency in MS Office is required; knowledge of MS Project and AutoCAD is a plus. Own transport is necessary for job-related travel.

  • Independent, mature and resourceful, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills in English and Malay; Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Computer literate and able to handle documentation and reporting accurately.

Job description

Manage all aspects of facility operations including maintenance, security, and janitorial services.

Plan and execute preventive and scheduled maintenance programs, including routine inspections of equipment, fixtures, and systems.

Ensure the facility complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.

Monitor facility supplies and inventory to support smooth operational efficiency.

Assist in budget planning and expense management for maintenance and services, including report preparation when required.

Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Superior/HOD.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Administrative Studies, M&E Engineering or an equivalent field

Strong planning, scheduling and organizational abilities, with the ability to work proactively and ahead of timelines

Independent, mature and resourceful, able to work with minimal supervision, with good problem‑solving skills

Good communication skills in English and Malay. Mandarin is an added advantage

Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and AutoCAD is an added advantage

Strong time management skills and able to meet deadlines effectively

Computer literate and able to handle documentation and reporting tasks accurately

Possess own transport and willing to travel when required
