Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, communicate, and manage TPM strategy across all TPM Champions & Regional Engineering Managers
  • Develop training and build capability for each of the TPM Pillars
  • Standardize tools (AM, PM, EEM, OEE, etc.), functions, and reports in MAXIMO (CMMS) across the organization
  • Lead, teach, and coach others on implementing TPM capability across the Division
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring a clear understanding of TPM principles and objectives
  • Work closely with Plant Leadership and Operations/Maintenance teams to deploy TPM principles and implement Key Process Indicators to measure advancement of capability
  • Encourage maintenance strategies that focus on preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime
  • Communication and Reporting: Present Global TPM Divisional Engineering status on a regular cadence to the local and regional leadership teams to review progress, results and challenges
  • Maintain communications with all regions: APAC, EMEA, and NA and facilities, facilitating the exchange of standard methodologies and best practices to ensure consistent development of capability
Experiences/Education - Required
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or Technical degree; Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics degree preferred
  • Total Productive Maintenance Certification (Marshall Institute or equivalent)
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in TPM principles, methods, systems
