What you bring
  • Experience working in a Tax department (Big 4 environment, tax and reporting) with preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • SAP experience (not mandatory).
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Management or similar; chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CPA or similar) highly valued.
  • Team player driven by excellence, with good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Writes and speaks fluent English.
  • Remote work experience is not required but considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit all reports connected with Remote VAT, Sales and Use Tax obligations (Sales and Use Tax Returns, Recapitulative Statements, Statistical Reports, National Bank Reports, others) in US and Canada.
  • Prepare and submit reports for Remote Sales and Use Tax obligations.
  • Ensure ERP data accuracy: perform controls, liaise with accounts payable/receivable to review transactions and implement corrections.
  • Analyze invoices for compliance with local tax law and proper tax treatment; request corrections when necessary.
  • Support the team before public entities (e.g., tax and statistical authorities).
  • Maintain and reconcile tax accounts; prepare and file VAT and Sales/Use Tax claims.
  • Support tax registrations worldwide and ad hoc research or projects (e.g., country expansions and new tax treatments).
  • Monitor changes in tax law across jurisdictions.
  • Support tax advisors with monthly, quarterly and yearly US direct tax filings to ensure compliance with federal, state and international tax laws.

The annual salary range for this full-time position is

$62,950 - $78,700 USD
