Job Summary
The Tax Supervisor will manage the tax team ensuring that all tax processes are carried out effectively and in compliance with the law. You will be involved in high‑level tax planning and strategy, advising management on tax matters and overseeing the preparation of tax reports. Your leadership will be key to the success of the tax department.
Responsibilities
Team Management
- Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Identify training needs and develop training programs

Tax Strategy and Compliance
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients

- Communicate with tax authorities and resolve any tax‑related issues
Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Review and analyze financial statements to identify tax implications
- Prepare and present tax reports to upper management and clients
- Conduct research and stay updated on changing tax laws and regulations
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 4 years of experience, including 1 year as a people manager or equivalent experience

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for complex tax issues and strategic planning insights
- Expertise in tax preparation software and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and modeling
- Experience in mentoring junior staff and leading tax‑related projects
- Excellent communication abilities to articulate tax concepts to non‑tax professionals and negotiate with tax authorities
- Meticulous attention to detail ensuring accuracy in tax filings and reports
- Commitment to staying current with evolving tax laws through continuing education and professional development
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
