A leading mobility and delivery platform in Ciudad de México seeks a Strategic Client Partner. In this role, you will develop advertising strategies for major financial institutions, building strong partnerships to drive business impact. This position offers an opportunity to shape partnerships and influence key decision-makers across the finance sector.
Our Uber Advertising Sales team is looking for a Strategic Client Partner to accelerate growth within the Non-Endemic Finance vertical in Mexico.
In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to some of the country’s largest financial institutions, including Tier 1 banks, fintechs, and insurance providers. You’ll connect Uber’s unique first-party mobility and delivery data with your partners’ marketing objectives, building long-term, data-driven strategies that reach consumers during high-intent, real-world moments.
This is not a transactional sales role. You’ll shape strategic partnerships, influence executive decision-makers, and help define how financial brands leverage Uber’s advertising ecosystem to drive measurable business impact.
Develop and execute advertising partnership strategies that deliver on partner marketing objectives and consistently exceed quarterly growth targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with Director, VP, and C-level marketing leaders across Mexico’s leading financial institutions
Lead consultative, solution-oriented conversations, navigating complex stakeholder dynamics and guiding partners toward win‑win outcomes
Drive adoption of advertising products across Uber’s Mobility and Delivery platforms, clearly articulating value and differentiation in a competitive landscape
Create and scale compelling pitch narratives that showcase the power of Uber’s data and drive measurable growth for finance partners
Act as the voice of the customer, partnering closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to inform and shape future Ads product roadmaps
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure seamless execution and strong partner outcomes
Contribute to building team culture by wearing multiple hats, supporting teammates, and helping grow the Ads business from the ground up
Proven experience in digital advertising sales, with a strong understanding of programmatic solutions and upper‑funnel media strategies
Ability to negotiate complex deals and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization
Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to support sales narratives and performance discussions
Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex products and data into compelling, client‑relevant narratives
5+ years of experience in end‑to‑end digital advertising sales, managing Large Customer Sales (LCS) or strategic accounts
Experience selling advertising solutions to large, sophisticated brands; background in Finance, Fintech, or Insurance in Mexico is a strong plus
Demonstrated success building executive‑level relationships and executing strategic sales plans that drive long‑term value
Ability to translate complex data into clear, quantifiable opportunities that influence senior decision‑makers
Strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills, with a partnership‑first mindset
A proactive, resourceful attitude and comfort navigating ambiguity in fast‑paced environments
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills, with full proficiency in Spanish and English
Collaborative leadership style, leading by example and helping teammates succeed
