Main Activities
  • Review the operational forecast and determine productivity requirements for sort operation, manage a team group to meet all building’s goals.
  • Support all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and Delivery Service Providers.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
Supervisory Responsibilities

You will be part of the Amazon Logistics Team, responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the delivery station, overseeing the operation that focuses on the delivery of Amazon orders directly to customers.

Lead a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers in daily management of the delivery station, including meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties, and communicating with DSPs including management representatives and their drivers.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a safe workplace, properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs.

In addition, one of the most important aspects of your job is to lead change at internet speed… innovation has made us the global company that we are today.

Help in daily operations: Receive, scan, lift and move shipments up to 25 kg. Assign route shipments within the AMZL coverage area.

Support and assign job duties to Process Assistants.

Adapt to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities.

Track and monitor sorting operation and driver dispatch.

Continually stand and/or walk an average of 5 miles daily.

Work in construction/distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, and not air‑conditioned.

Key Job Responsibilities

You are the owner of your operation, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, you will be in charge of managing personnel supported by the HR team, you will take care of the safety and productivity of your station and you will be an agent of change for people and for the company.

A Day in the Life

After generating the weekly work plan of the operation, you will lead the operation shifts. A large part of your work and day‑to‑day is at night, and in shift your job is to ensure the safety of your work team, develop your team, meet quality goals, adhere to the work plan and resolve issues.

  • 1+ year of employee and performance management experience.
