Overview

Vestas LATAM North is a sales business unit covering Mexico, Caribbean, Central America and Colombia, reporting directly to our regional headquarters located in Brazil. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. The Service Department at Mexico office is responsible for service, service sales and maintenance of wind turbines within such countries. As a Service Customer Support you will be part of a team consisting of 4 colleagues, where teamwork and good communication is the key.

Customer Support team is a high-profile team, working in an ever-growing business environment, with great visibility to our Customers, directing industrial in the national and international power and renewable energy business. In your role within the Customer Support team, you will play a vital part in engaging with customers and overseeing Service Contracts to ensure that performance indicators are met while also contributing to project profitability and meeting regional sales objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, leveraging customer intimacy to ensure renewals of Service Contracts and secure additional business.
  • Define common strategy in customer relationship management (aligned with Operation Managers).
  • Assist the commercial department in the negotiation of new Service Contracts, Renewals, Settlements, Amendments and Additional Services quotations.
  • Assist with answering contractual questions from Customers, Sales Department and Service Operations.
  • Assure fulfillment of Service Contracts KPIs.
  • Lead monthly and regular meetings with Customers, assuring compliance of contractual obligations.
  • Deal with technical open cases resolution process (Proactive communication, regular meetings, close collaboration with Product Support, Engineering, etc.).
  • Control project Billing plan including adequate invoicing of fees, variables, aftersales, bonus and penalties.
  • Ensure timely collection of customer payments and manage overdue accounts.
  • Ensure correct information in SAP and Sales Force related to the Contract.
  • Responsible for contract availability monthly monitoring and negotiation with customer related to production period, supporting Service Operations.
  • Maintain Monthly Reports deliveries to Customers.
  • Prepare project monthly reports and present them to the board.
Qualifications
  • Engineering or Business Administration degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing position (e.g. sales, project management, contract management, particularly with large complex customers) within the energy market.
  • Good business sense and good economical understanding of contracts.
  • Contract and Project management knowledge.
  • Language skills: Spanish and English fluent, Portuguese desired.
  • Wind turbine, Energy or Aircraft industry experience would be considered.
