A multinational healthcare company based in Tijuana is seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support the finance function through budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and financial modeling skills and should thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include developing financial models, monitoring KPIs, and providing actionable insights for operational efficiency. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in finance or related fields and 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis.

Position Overview:

TheSenior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analystwill play a critical role in supporting the finance function through budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Based inTijuana, Mexico, the analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams—both locally and the US—to provide financial insights that drive strategic business decisions.

This position requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling proficiency, and the ability to interpret data to support business performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with monthly financial close processes and prepare reporting packages for regional or global finance teams
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and support decision-making
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and business risks/opportunities
  • Analyze actual vs. budget/forecast results and provide actionable insights
  • Prepare and manage monthly and quarterly financial forecasts and variance analysis
  • Support the annual budget process, collaborating with department leaders across operations, supply chain, and corporate
  • Identify drivers of financial performance and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency
  • Establish best practices for data integrity, reporting governance, and financial controls
  • Own recurring reporting cycles by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and data integrity
  • Partner with business leaders to validate assumptions, assess risks, and ensure forecast accuracy
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation of reporting tools (Excel, QAD, Planful)
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus)
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance (manufacturing experience is highly preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a bilingual (English/Spanish) and multicultural environment
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance management
  • Ability to derive insights and recommend actions, not just produce reports.
  • Experience in amaquiladoraenvironment or working with U.S.-based parent companies is highly valued
  • Must be comfortable communicating financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
