The Automation Specialist is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, testing and implementing intelligent automation solutions that improve process efficiency, reduce operational costs, and drive organizational change with a process engineer mind set. The role ensures automation initiatives deliver measurable business value while fostering adoption and transformation across teams. The specialist will also proactively seek out and integrate new automation technologies into solution development, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation through fresh automation ideas.

  • Design, develop, test and implement automation workflows, scripts, and tools to improve efficiency across operational and business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (IT, operations, business units) to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing automation solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in automation development, process improvement, or systems integration.
  • Experience with automation tools in RPA (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or similar), scripting (Python, PowerShell), Smartsheet, Alteryx and other workflow automation platforms.
  • Reading and writing medium complex SQL statements for automation optimization and analysis.
  • Developing enterprise‑grade solutions using AI agents and custom GPT‑based models
  • Working knowledge of prompt engineering techniques and model tuning for AI‑driven solutions
  • Practice incorporating LLMs as part of automation solutions.
  • Exposure with Snowflake cloud data storage platform and AI tools.
