Position title: SAP Mexico Next Gen – Cloud Outage Communications Associate
Expected Start: January 2026*
Duration: 24 Months
As a Cloud Outage Communications Associate, you will join the Global Cloud Infrastructure Delivery (GCID) organization — the team responsible for operating SAP’s backend technology and data centers that power all SAP Cloud solutions worldwide.
You’ll become part of the Risk and Incident De‑Escalation team, which serves as the customer‑facing interface for GCID and ensures end‑to‑end coordination of incident resolution and communications.
You will play an essential role in the Cloud Outage Communications team, helping manage global communications during major cloud incidents through the Integrated Outage Communication (IOC) and customer communication processes.
Your work will directly impact SAP’s reputation for trust and transparency by ensuring customers, executives, and field teams are well informed during critical service events. Through your communication, SAP customers will feel supported, confident, and informed — even in moments of disruption.
You will gain a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and operations within a global enterprise while developing executive communication, crisis management, and stakeholder alignment skills. This role will teach you how to translate complex technical issues into clear, business‑relevant messages, building resilience, empathy, and leadership as you operate in time‑sensitive environments. Working in a truly global model, you’ll collaborate daily with peers across regions and cultures, gaining direct visibility into how SAP manages large‑scale operations and communicates with executives, field colleagues and customers.
Team‑oriented individual with an “always learning” mindset — eager to grow in cloud operations and communications, and to keep developing skills in SAP’s cloud environment.
