This Position reports to:

Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of ABB’s Robotics portfolio within the automotive industry, aligned with the division’s strategy. You will work toward achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also leverage your expertise to identify and develop new business opportunities.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

This role contributes to the Robotics Business Area in Mexico’s Bajío Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery timelines, payment terms, and general conditions, in alignment with ABB’s offerings and strategy.
  • Execute efficient marketing activities and clearly communicate the value proposition to customers.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to the sales process and support cash collection and project management activities when required.
What it takes to Run what runs the world:
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in a similar sales role.
  • Knowledge of automation processes.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to analyze customer needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Experience managing sales forecasts, CRM tools, and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial, Mechanical, Robotics Engineering, or a related field.
