Overview

At Novacard, we are revolutionizing access to credit in markets where traditional options don’t work. We are a Mexican company with operations in Eastern Europe, and we believe technology is a key enabler of financial inclusion. We are now launching operations in Mexico.

We’re looking for a Risk & Operations Manager to lead the launch of our collections and anti-fraud areas from scratch—someone who can run the daily collections and fraud prevention operations, structure teams, define processes, and make real-time strategic decisions. If you’re passionate about operational challenges, know how to move key recovery metrics, and have experience leading teams in high-growth environments, this role is for you.

What you’ll do

Collections

• Oversee internal and external collections processes during the pilot stage in Mexico.
• Evaluate quality and processing speed from both internal teams and external agencies.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and quality standards across all collections workflows.
• Prepare reports on recovery rates and operational efficiency.
• Document processes and train new collection agents.

Anti-Fraud

• Lead the fraud investigation team, prioritize cases, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Supervise complex investigations: chargebacks, high-priority cases, blacklists, etc.
• Ensure accurate data recording related to fraud cases.
• Develop and maintain procedures and training on fraud prevention and detection.

Operational Management

• Define and implement operational strategies for Collections and Anti-Fraud in Mexico.
• Supervise daily operations, including agents, supervisors, and external vendors.
• Analyze KPIs and turn data into actionable improvements.
