A global manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Systems & Process Improvement Specialist to enhance quality excellence within the production value stream. This role involves designing and maintaining the Quality System, conducting thorough inspections, and leading initiatives that improve production efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess a degree and technical knowledge in quality systems, alongside strong analytical and communication skills. This position is based in Nuevo León, with an on-site work model, and may require additional hours during project challenges.

Job Summary

As a Quality Systems & Process Improvement Specialist, you will be the go-to person for ensuring quality excellence within the value stream. Your mission will be to design, maintain, and improve the Quality System, ensuring compliance with international standards and defect prevention. This role combines technical expertise in quality tools and manufacturing processes with key soft skills such as critical thinking, effective communication, and adaptability to lead initiatives that directly impact production efficiency and reliability.

What You Will Do
  • Precision and Attention to Detail: Perform advanced inspections, measurement system analysis (MSA), and validate CMM reports to ensure process and product accuracy.

  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Lead RCCA/A3 processes, apply tools such as Pareto and 8D to identify root causes and define effective corrective/preventive actions.

  • Communication and Teamwork: Coordinate quality training, present metrics (PPM, FPY, Scrap), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.

  • Adaptability and Change Management: Participate in ramp-up of new lines, adjusting documentation and processes to operational changes.

  • Planning and Organization: Maintain quality system documentation, schedule internal/external audits, and manage non-conforming material processes.

Required Profile
  • Education: Degree or equivalent experience. (IMA, IIA, IMT, IMF, etc.)

  • Languages: Intermediate-Advanced English.

  • Technical Knowledge:

    • QMS (CQMS/ISO), APQP (PFMEA, Control Plan, SWES, MSA).
    • Quality tools: Pareto, 8D, FPY, PPM.
    • Manufacturing standards: GD&T, blueprint reading, machining and assembly processes.
    • Software: ETQ, SAP, Infinity, AQE.

  • Adaptability + experience in ramp-up and process changes.

  • Planning + document management and audits.

Additional Information
  • Location: Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León facility.

  • Work Model: On-site, five days a week. Candidate is expected to provide support during weekends or extended hours depending on project challenges.
