Formación

Quality Engineer

Primary Location: Irapuato, GUA, MX

Introduction

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Quality team. You will be contribute our Tier 1 journey by running and maintaining technically our globally standardized quality assurance processes to meet the requirements set in Quality Control. In this position, you will report to the Quality Manager. This position is mainly located in Irapuato, Guanajauato MX.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the Charge in Quality Assurance: Oversee and maintain locally standardized quality processes, ensuring seamless alignment with global quality standards.
  • Deliver Quality in Technology: Manage and develop quality measurement devices and calibration technologies, ensuring continuous improvement in operational quality.
  • Analyze & Improve: Take ownership of quality data collection systems, and identify areas for improvement to enhance product and process quality.
  • Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement: Investigate and address customer and stakeholder complaints, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate for Benefit: Work alongside global and local teams, sharing best practices and participating in audits, certifications, and the development of quality action plans.

Who you are:

  • Experienced: You bring over 5 years of hands‑on experience in quality engineering, ideally with a background in quality technologies, measurement systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Certified & Skilled: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher), and ISO 9001 (internal auditor certifications are a plus).
  • Technically Proficient: Practical knowledge of tools such as Minitab, SAP, and Microsoft Office 365, with strong data analysis and problem‑solving skills.
  • Bilingual: Full professional proficiency in English and the local language is essential to communicate effectively across diverse teams.
