Una empresa de tecnología de agua busca un Especialista en Calidad para revisar procesos y asegurar la capacidad de los proveedores. Se requiere un título en Ingeniería Mecánica y al menos 3 años de experiencia en roles relacionados en un entorno de manufactura discreta. El candidato ideal tendrá habilidades analíticas, un enfoque en el proveedor y capacidad de análisis estadístico. Formación

  • Experiencia mínima de 3 años en roles de Ingeniería, Sourcing o Calidad en un entorno de manufactura discreta.
  • Demostrada capacidad en análisis estadístico y uso de técnicas de resolución de problemas.
  • Conocimiento de herramientas de mejora de procesos.

Responsabilidades

  • Revisar el Sistema de Gestión de Calidad y procesos de producción.
  • Actuar como enlace entre LWTA y proveedores.
  • Liderar iniciativas de reducción de costos y calidad.
  • Monitorear el desempeño de proveedores.

Responsabilidades
  • Review the Quality Management System and production processes in order to assess supplier capability
  • Assist suppliers with clear requirements, specifications and production standards
  • Act as liaison between LWTA and suppliers
  • Observe production release process for new product development and engineering changes
  • Identify key manufacturing, material management, and design processes in order to ensure consistent quality, stable production and timely product delivery
  • Issue notifications of product nonconformance to suppliers requesting root cause identification, corrective action definition and improvement action planning
  • Participate in failure modes effects analysis on all new products with engineering in order to identify risks and assist with the implementation of control plans for these risks
  • Review internal knowledge base and work with 3rd party industry experts assisting with supplier development activities in order to increase quality, enhance reliability, and improve dependability
  • Lead NPD projects, COPQ reduction and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Assist suppliers with the development and implementation of statistical sampling plans and inspection procedures.
  • Monitor, review, and report on supplier performance, in-house and to the supplier. Initiate corrective actions, as needed.
  • Lead Supplier Corrective Action Requests
  • Lead Supplier Production Approval Processes (PPAP) for your assigned products
Requisitios
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Certifications: ASQ Certification or equivalent, and Six Sigma Green Belt are a plus
  • At least 3 years in Engineering, Sourcing, or Quality related roles as a specialist in a discrete manufacturing environment (Fortune 500 Company is a plus)
  • Demonstrated supplier focus – thoroughly understands the product development process and the role of quality and supply chain in new product launches as well as ongoing production
  • Analytical and problem solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner; effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions
  • Change oriented – knowledge of process improvement tools; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing objectives
  • Proven statistical analysis capability with use of appropriate problem solving techniques
