A leading multinational corporation located in Santiago de Querétaro is seeking a Production Manager to oversee team performance and compliance with HSE rules. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, extensive experience in engineering and management, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and sustainability. This role provides the opportunity to be an IMPACT Maker and contribute to a more sustainable world.

Formación

  • Experience of at least 8 years in engineering & maintenance.
  • Experience in a management position.

  • Responsible for the performance of a production entity.
  • Manage load/resource balance according to the MPS and customer portfolio.
  • Lead change management and social impacts.

Conocimientos

Management and leadership in a manufacturing environment
Application of Lean Manufacturing methodologies

What do you get to do in this position?

Responsible for the performance of a production / manufacturing entity through hierarchical animation of teams.

Aligns resources with needs within short, medium & long term horizon, guarantees training plans for successful execution of standardized work, leads short interval management at sector level, formulates / escalates issues where necessary.

Strong contributor to continuous improvement. People management & budgetary accountability.

Main activities

Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the shop floor, including managing reported incidents and near misses.

As manager, will be the legal responsible in case of accident

Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.

Adapt the human and technical resources by integrating economic criteria

Manage the performance and the productivity of the resources

Manage load / resource balance according to the MPS and the customer portfolio

Participate at the development of Master Production Schedule

Manage the team according to SPS / SIM rules and cycle event of the plant

Be responsible for people management including : goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, well being.

Define training axes according to competencies target vs missions

Expand cooperation to achieve the collective performance

Lead change management and social impacts

Provide the know-how and industrial expertise for PCO ( projects)

Qualifications -

  • Bachelor’s Degree in ME, IE, EE, or related field; Master's Degree desired.
  • Management and leadership in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of at least 8 years in engineering & maintenance.
  • Experience in management position
  • Experience in the application of Lean Manufacturing methodologies, certification a plus
  • Advanced English
