A leading automotive company in Naucalpan de Juárez seeks a Design & Release Steering Engineer. The role involves designing, developing, and releasing steering components while ensuring compliance with corporate requirements. Candidates should have a strong understanding of engineering processes, quality tools, and experience in the automotive industry. Formación

• High-level English proficiency required.
• Experience with product development tools like SAP and AIMS.
• Basic understanding of Quality tools including APQP and FMEA.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and release steering components for vehicle programs.
• Support and manage the Change Control Process.
• Monitor production quality and lead quality improvement actions.

Conocimientos

High-level English proficiency (written and verbal)

Proficiency with Product Development tools such as FEDEBOM, SAP, APICS

Experience with Web-based issue tracking systems, including AIMS

Familiarity with change management systems like WERS

Functional knowledge of TeamCenter

Basic working knowledge of CATIA

Basic programming knowledge in MATLAB

Basic knowledge of Quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA)

Experience with data analysis tools such as Minitab

Knowledge of materials properties

Knowledge of production processes (foundry, die casting, stamping)

Understanding of GPDS and APQP processes

Understanding of Robustness Engineering Disciplines

Proficient analytical capabilities

Strong understanding of the automotive industry environment

Basic 3D CAD knowledge

Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5D)

Basic understanding of Six Sigma methodology
