This role involves managing supplier communications, overseeing purchase order transactions, and ensuring compliance with strategic procurement. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, along with expert Excel skills. Ensure that purchase goods, materials and services and company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.

Deliver tactical activities of purchasing goods and services off of defined contracts with stated terms and conditions.

May include occasional one-off negotiations for non-standard buys, low dollar volume buys or items that are not strategically sourced.

Work closely with site operational team and strategic sourcing to identify and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage supplier communication.
  • Manage tactical purchase order transactions.
  • Review and monitor purchase requisitions.
  • Deal with invoice discrepancies.
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Metrics.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Act as expert and advocate for assigned suppliers.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Understand market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with strategic procurement.
  • Project Management.
Qualifications
  • YOU MUST HAVE: Bachelor Degree.
  • WE VALUE: Knowledge of purchasing systems.
  • Min 5 years of experience in a purchasing.
  • Expert level Excel skills preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft programs, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Solid communication skills and a team player.
  • Good organizational - ability to prioritize and problem solving.
  • Planning, negotiations and agreements/contract management experience.
  • Good technical knowledge of Procurement/sourcing.
