The Network Operations Engineer is responsible for proactive monitoring, troubleshooting and incident management in a 24x7 network operation environment. This role involves maintaining network documentation, coordinating with site technicians, OEM vendors and other stakeholders and ensuring network reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and detect anomalies.
• Respond to alerts and manage incident tickets.
• Perform diagnosis and SOP-based issue resolution.
• Track and follow up on open tickets.
• Maintain network documentation and perform incident trend analysis.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of problems.
• Respond to security incidents and support during major P1/P2 incidents.
• Implement and maintain network configurations, patching and vulnerability management.
• Coordinate with site technicians, OEM vendors and telcos.
• Assist during scheduled maintenance and communicate with stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and architecture.
• Create and update SOPs and provide training to L1 technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network operations, including at least 1 year in a lead role.
• Strong knowledge of network hardware including routers, switches and wireless devices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to handle complex network issues.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills, and the ability to lead a team.
