A recruiting agency is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design and implement scalable backend services and build responsive UI components. This role involves contributing to product features and improving engineering quality using AI-assisted tools. The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of full-stack experience, excellent communication skills, and a self-driven attitude. The position allows for a remote work arrangement with a commitment of approximately 45 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, during US EST/CST hours.

Formación

Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

Contractor Fee: $2,500 - $3,500/month (USD)

Work Arrangement: Remote

Engagement Type: Independent Contractor

Commitment: Full-time (Approx. 45 hours/week)

About This Role:

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who can own features end-to-end—from building comprehensive backend services to clean, reliable front‑end experiences. You’ll translate high‑level product direction and architectural decisions into scalable backend services and polished UI interactions. The ideal candidate has strong engineering fundamentals, understands how to design systems that scale, and can move quickly by leveraging modern frameworks and AI‑assisted development tools. Success in this role means shipping robust customer‑facing features and elevating the overall engineering quality of the product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable backend services, data models, and API endpoints
• Integrate third‑party APIs and build internal services that support product features
• Build responsive, modular UI components based on Figma designs
• Maintain consistency across the front‑end architecture and shared component systems
• Optimize client‑side performance and improve UX using modern patterns and best practices
• Write tests across the stack to ensure stable, reliable releases
• Use AI‑assisted coding tools to increase development speed, test coverage, and improve code quality
• Contribute to continuous refactoring and improvements

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of full‑stack engineering or backend‑heavy product engineering experience
• Strong experience developing both front‑end and backend features end‑to‑end
• Ability to translate product and design requirements into technical plans and clean implementations
• Experience working with relational databases, data modeling, and API integrations
• Comfort using AI‑assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills (C1 or C2 level)
• Strong attention to detail, engineering discipline, and reliability
• Self‑driven, able to thrive in fast‑moving startup environments
• Stable internet connection and ability to work independently

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM US EST/CST
