Medical Advisor Manager Cardiorenal
Position: Major Tasks
- Permanent Member of The Cardio/Renal Squad - Point of contact for Vericiguat at LATAM Level -High impact role for new indications for key brands HF (Vericiguat and Finerenone) related heart failure.
- Responsible to develop and implement the medical launch readiness strategy for coming indications (Finerenone and Vericiguat)
- Establish clear direction for handling all emerging new medical/scientific information (create/guide team to develop a unified information-handling approach through educational programs, speaker trainings, advisory boards) in order to disseminate scientific data and ensure patient safety, fomenting the right use of our products.
- Lead the Medical review and approval of all Advertising, Promotion and Sales Training materials.
- Medical Affairs representative for LMR (Legal, Medical, Regulatory) team for assigned products and or IPT/TA.
- NIS/PASS/IIR/ISC contribution as the Medical Expert/ IIR Responsible in their IPT/TA, working in close coordination with the Data Generation manager, providing medical and scientific knowledge and expertise to ensure optimal planning and running of the clinical trials in adherence with local regulations and local and global QSDs.
- Participate at key Congresses and Conventions, interacting with TLs, establishing networking and gather competitive intelligence.
- Collaborate in the training programs development and implementation through external speakers and give support to cover sales force needs, MSLs and other internal stakeholders -Drive strategy with the Cardio/Renal MSL team
- Interactions with Medical Societies and Patient Associations to understand medical gaps, patient journeys and needs
- Contribute to the digital transformation of the area under his/her responsibility
- Propose and discuss the PSPs strategies in benefits of the patients with the PSPs stakeholders
- Medical support at HEORS (Health Economics Outcomes and Reimbursement) process- Pharmacoeconomics models, in order to submit our strategic products to National Formulary- Government Market, working close with the access team being accountable for medical access Strategy which means high level relations in high gov. level to obtain reimbursement ~ 30 million Euros
- Encourage local data generation in order to achieve full reimbursement --· To support Regulatory Affairs in the presentation of products to our HA and reviewing the medical aspects in the CCDS updating, responsible for present to the new molecules committee to obtain registration for new indications
- Collaborate and empower networks with a mindset of partnerships
- Execute, explore, learn and make decisions in rapid cycles (90 days), being agile and reducing bureaucracy · Be accountable of the resource's investments, being responsible to producing complete deliverables to internal and external customer
- Embrace the new DSO model, creating value through serving our customers Provide appreciative feedback in the Cardio/Renal product Squads.
Who You Are
- Medical degree or Advanced degree in Medicine
- 1 + years in the pharmaceutical industry (Medical affairs)
- Demonstrated expertise in drug information communication
- Excellent project management ability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
