Market Analysis and Planning Manager
Job Summary
- Supports formulation, implementation, and monitoring of strategic plans for sustainable business growth and improved performance.
- Interprets data; creates financial and statistical models to recommend enhancements to business and financial performance.
- Monitors emerging trends and predicts business dynamics to shape organizational strategic development plans.
Responsibilities
- Research businesses, industries, and competitors for multiple workstreams using a comprehensive, self‑directed analytical approach.
- Construct financial and statistical models incorporating industry‑standard information sources, valuation methods, and statistically relevant data.
- Interpret and synthesize data to identify major conclusions and formulate recommendations for optimizing business and financial performance.
- Own data collection activities and partner with cross‑functional team members to ensure timely and accurate analysis delivery.
- Support in defining project guidelines, contingency plans, objectives, and deliverables to drive successful outcomes.
- Monitor and incorporate emerging trends in strategic planning, ensuring organization remains agile and competitive.
- Develop thorough business cases and strategic options based on in‑depth industry insights, internal capabilities, financial models, and ROI analysis to guide and support planning initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with MAP management, HP stakeholders, and employees to proactively drive growth strategies and initiatives across the organization.
- Track, measure, interpret, and predict business trends to inform decision‑making and enable proactive responses to market dynamics and evolving business landscapes.
Education & Experience
- Four‑year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related discipline, or equivalent experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically 4‑7 years of experience, preferably in strategic management, strategic planning and implementation, consulting, market research, or related field, or advanced degree with 3‑5 years of experience.
