Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer (Machining Processes) is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting conventional and CNC machining operations, including milling machines, lathes, and CNC equipment (3-axis to 5-axis machining centers, and CNC lathes). In addition, this position is accountable for the creation, updating, and maintenance of detailed work instructions to ensure safe, efficient, and standardized execution of machining processes. The role ensures efficient production, high quality, and continuous improvement of machining activities while maintaining compliance with safety and industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, and support conventional and CNC machining operations (manual milling, turning, 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers, and CNC lathes).
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed work instructions to ensure safe, efficient, and standardized execution of machining processes.
  • Ensure efficient production, high quality, and continuous improvement of machining activities while maintaining compliance with safety and industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment focused on both conventional and CNC machining processes (manual milling, turning, 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers, and CNC lathes).
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tool technology, setup, and machine programming.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software and interpretation of engineering drawings and tolerances.
  • Strong knowledges on GD&T and drawing interpretation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
