Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data, and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments, and individuals for their own use.
Role Purpose
Responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain processes using SAP ERP systems, ensuring seamless production and distribution operations. This role focuses on integrating supply chain planning with manufacturing goals while driving improvements in ERP usage and supporting team development including onboarding and continuous training. We are seeking a dynamic Engineer to drive advanced planning transformation initiatives within our organization. As a key member of the supply chain team, you will lead the implementation, optimization, and scaling of advanced planning systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency, improve forecasting accuracy, and enable data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Experiences/Education - Required
Education: Industrial Engineering degree or related field
Lean Manufacturing training and/or certification
Work Experience: SAP (CP2) expertise minimum 2 years; experience on material master data, routing, work centers, and Bills of Materials at least 2 years
Bilingual (English - Spanish)
