Descripción del empleo

As an Import and Export Analyst, you will be responsible for effectively monitoring internal departments (Operations, Procurement, Supplies, Warehousing, Logistics, and Transportation) and external partners (Customs Brokers and Carriers) involved in the administrative process of foreign trade logistics, ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations in export operations.

This position reports to import and export manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate internal departments (Logistics, Warehousing, Shipping, Supplies, Production, Operations, Transportation, Asset Security) and external stakeholders (Transportation Service Providers, Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders) across the foreign trade logistics chain to ensure the deliveries, cost‑effective operations, and full compliance with export and import regulations.
  • Send shipment documentation to customs brokers and affiliated or third‑party clients, including invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and quality certificate, ensuring compliance with the regulations and required documentation for each destination.
  • Generate database records for the operations under your management to ensure control, tracking, and updating of each order.
  • Coordinate internal departments and external service providers to keep support documentation up to date, ensuring the legal status of imported and exported goods and readiness for potential audits by the Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT), thereby preventing fines or sanctions from this regulatory authority.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, or International Relations
  • English proficiency at B2 level
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in foreign trade operations
  • Solid knowledge of customs legislation and regulatory compliance
