The Wingate School (TWS) is an Inspired Education Group school located in Mexico City and an accredited Cambridge International School and IB World School. It offers an educational programme focused on academic excellence, creativity, and human formation.

Our team is growing, and we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated IB Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary team starting in August.

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in IB Spanish, in line with the IB Diploma Programme framework.
Foster a learning environment that promotes fluency, accuracy, and confidence in Spanish language use across all skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
Integrate cultural, literary, and contemporary materials to deepen students' understanding of the Spanish‑speaking world.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and support both native and non‑native speakers.
Assess, record, and report student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure consistency and interdisciplinary connections within the IB programme.
Participate actively in professional development, school events, and extracurricular activities.
Promote The Wingate School's values of respect, integrity, and global citizenship.
A degree in Spanish Language, Literature, Education, or a related field.
A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
Experience teaching IB Spanish, preferably in an international school setting.
Strong understanding of the IB Diploma Programme philosophy and assessment criteria.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
A student‑centered approach, with the ability to inspire critical thinking and cultural curiosity.
Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
