The Role:

We are hiring Bilingual HR Generalist for our Querétaro location. This role is a key administrative and strategic partner, responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruiting to terminations. You will be instrumental in ensuring the company adheres to Mexican Labor Law and IMSS regulations, as well as managing payroll data, HR reports, and internal communications. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and professional team player with a strong grasp of labor law and the ability to partner with management to drive company culture and initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Compliance & Administration: Act as the primary point of contact for HR administration, ensuring compliance with Mexican Labor Law (LFA) and IMSS regulations. You'll manage internal processes, policies, and procedures, while also handling administrative tasks like purchasing, permits, and payroll data entry.
  • Talent Management: Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, new hire onboarding, training, and terminations. You will also be the main contact for employee relations, benefits administration, and compensation.
  • Strategic & Cultural Support: Partner with the management team on strategic initiatives, attend management meetings, and provide legal advice to support key decisions. You'll be instrumental in developing and promoting our company culture through events, employee roundtables, and effective internal communication.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Utilize HRIS and data to prepare and analyze reports, providing valuable insights to leadership to inform departmental and organizational development.

What You’ve Done:

  • Experience: 2+ years proven experience in an HR Generalist role with a strong understanding of core HR functions.
  • Legal Expertise: Deep knowledge of Mexican Labor Law is essential to advise management and ensure compliance.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS are required.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptability: A demonstrated ability to manage change and work a flexible schedule to meet business needs
  • Experience working in a call center agency, or outsourced customer service environment.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce customer engagement best practices.

About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to support our growing operations in Mexico. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing HR strategies, managing local employee lifecycle processes, and ensuring compliance with Mexico labor laws. This role requires a proactive professional with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of regional HR practices.

Key Responsibilities

Language:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken). It would be even better if you understand Chinese.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for local positions, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Facilitate seamless onboarding for new hires, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and grievance resolution.
  • Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Administer payroll coordination with external vendors and ensure timely processing.
  • Manage local benefits programs (e.g., social security, health insurance, annual leave).

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all HR practices align with Mexico labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage work permit/visa processes for expatriates.

Performance Management

  • Support the implementation of performance review cycles and career development plans.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement strategies.

HR Reporting

  • Generate regular reports on HR metrics (e.g., turnover, recruitment status).
  • Analyze data to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience :
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in multinational companies.
  • Proven expertise in Thai labor laws and employment practices.
  • Skills

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or related field.

5–7 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.

Strong knowledge of Mexican Labor Law (LFT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, ISR).

Solid experience in payroll, compensation, recruitment, and talent development.

Comfortable working with HR metrics, data analysis, and Excel (intermediate–advanced).

Experience using HRIS platforms (SuccessFactors, SAP, CONTPAQi, or similar).
