Descripción

• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
• Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
• Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment
• In-depth knowledge of system maintenance
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
• Skilled in analyzing information and creating reports
• Clean driving record

Perfil buscado

A successful Field Service Engineer should have:

• Associate\'s degree in a related technical field, or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Over five years of field service experience with electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment; experience with integrated equipment controls preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction and building customer loyalty.
• Willing and able to travel up to 70%, including occasional international trips.
• Knowledge in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experienced in resolving customer issues and creating value for both customers and the company in a professional manner.
• Applies technical and logical methodologies effectively to solve problems.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Office, web browsers, ERP & CRM systems, TeamViewer, and Google Docs.
• Ability to prioritize critical tasks and manage workload efficiently.
• Effectively plans workload, materials, and parts to complete tasks on time and to customer satisfaction.
• Experienced in inventory management and accountability.
