A leading manufacturing company in Tijuana is looking for an experienced Production Planner. The successful candidate will develop and manage production schedules, analyze capacity constraints, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role requires over 3 years in production planning, experience with ERP systems like Oracle NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and communication abilities in English are essential for this fast-paced environment.

Formación

  • 3+ years of experience in production planning or factory scheduling.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and continuously update the Forecast plan and production schedule based on demand, material readiness, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Analyze capacity constraints, including labor availability, equipment utilization, and shift structures.
  • Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse, and SMT teams to ensure timely material availability and schedule execution.
  • Monitor daily production performance and adjust schedules proactively to address delays, priority shifts, or operational issues.
  • Provide routine updates and clear visibility to leadership regarding schedule adherence, risks, and capacity outlook.
  • Ensure proper synchronization between planning activities and inventory control.
  • Utilize ERP systems (preferably Oracle NetSuite) for work order management, production planning, and material requirements updates.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, build plan attainment, production efficiency, and inventory turns.
  • Communicate effectively in English with internal teams, suppliers, and international stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, factory scheduling, or related roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems; Oracle NetSuite preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and production planning best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, data analysis, and reporting).
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
