This role involves managing international shipping processes, resolving issues, and maintaining documentation, suited for candidates with logistics experience and a bachelor's degree.

Formación

• Two or more years of related experience in global logistics and transportation modes.
• Progressive understanding of export regulations, documentation, and compliance.
• Basic understanding of US Customs policies and security initiatives.

Descripción del empleo

• Increase and maintain on-time export performance in accordance to company standards;

• Interfaces with customer service and both internal and external customers as it relates to outbound international shipping, resolves problems and recommends corrective action when needed;

• Coordinates carrier and forwarder pick-ups, provides freight quotes and researches and recommends economical alternatives in methods and modes of transport;

• Maintains strict adherence to U.S. and foreign government laws and regulations regarding exports;

• Maintains complete and orderly filing of export documentation. Monitor and track export shipments;

• Maintain electronically, all export files

•Ensures complete and accurate export documentation;

• Provides timely updates to management on export related issues and makes recommendations for process improvements;

• Identifies discrepancies in Customs values, commodity codes and units of measure;

• Cooperate with management in the performance of semi-annual compliance audits;

• Cross train team members on international shipping;

• Performs other duties or special projects as requested

• Bachelor degree
• Two or more years of related experience; in global logistics and transportation modes ;
• Progressive understanding of export regulations, documentation and complianceand other shipping documentation;
• Basic understanding of US Customs policies and security initiatives, C-TPAT, CSI;
• Experience with shipping systems and automated tools;
• Ability to follow oral and written communication;
