A leading automotive retailer in Chihuahua, Mexico is seeking a Finance and Accounting professional to manage financial activities related to DataZone operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, along with 3-5 years of experience in general accounting and financial planning. Strong compliance with MEXGAAP/USGAAP, financial analysis skills, and proficiency in Excel are required. This role involves developing operating plans, managing financial reporting, and ensuring internal compliance.

Formación

• Must hold a CPA or have Mexico GAAP experience.
• Proficient in advanced Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Manage financial activities related to DataZone operations.

• Develop annual and quarterly operating plans for DataZone.
• Perform financial analysis and report results to VP's and Directors.
• Oversee period close accounting and ensure process compliance.

Position Summary

Administers and put in practice accounting policies and procedures regarding DataZone.

Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of statistical, operational, and accounting information to appraise the operating results in terms of cost, budgets, policies, trends, and increased profit possibilities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Other duties may be assigned.
• 25% Manage financial activities generated by DataZone operations.
• Ensures that processes and records comply with MEXGAAP / USGAAP accounting and internal audit policies.
• Provide financial and accounting advice on potential new operating processes to ensure financial viability, adequate recording, tracking and visibility.
• 25% Develop DataZone annual and quarterly operating plans / LEs / targets.
• Verify compliance and proper alignment of the related areas to operating plan strategies and tactics, including timely communication of deviations.
• 15% Perform period close accounting review, accounting reconciliations and DataZone P&L and Balance accounts oversight.
• 15% Perform regular and ad-hoc financial analysis of operating details, interpreting, and reporting results to VP's and Directors of each area as well as evaluate and analyze projects proposed by functional areas.
• 10% Ensure all the process are in compliance with US corporate as well as SOX and internal compliance.
• 10% Prepare and analyze information for internal and external audit purpose.
