Job Description

Job Title:Lead DevOps Engineer
Experience Level: 8+ Years

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled & proactiveLead DevOps Engineerto join our Data Management & Governanceteam with a focus onData Privacy to drive the design, implementation, & optimization of our DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise inJava,CI/CD, & monitoring tools, with a strong understanding of infrastructure automation & performance tuning that support enterprise-grade data privacy applications to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations & enterprise data governance standards. This role involves leading DevOps initiatives, mentoring team members, &collaborating across development, QA, &operations teams to ensure seamless software delivery &system reliability.


Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate withData Governance,Legal, andSecurityteams to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations and to integrate DevOps best practices.
• Lead the design & implementation of scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive automation across data privacy infrastructure provisioning, configuration & deployment.
• Monitor & optimize application performance using industry-standard tools.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, & security across environments.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers & promote knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot & resolve complex production issues.
• Support database operations & performance tuning.

Must-Have Skills:

• Programming Languages:Java, SQL
• Version Control:Git
• CI/CD Tools:Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
• Monitoring & Observability:Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana
• Database Technologies:SQL (Snowflake)

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Data Privacy – Applications / Platforms / Tools.
• Cloud Platforms:AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Data Platforms:Snowflake, Oracle
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):Terraform, Ansible
• Scripting Languages:Python, Bash
• Security & Compliance:DevSecOps practices
• Agile Methodologies:SCRUM, Kanban
• Experience with Microservices & Containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

Qualifications:

• For NAM, Undergrad or Grad in STEM or relevant fields.
• For India, Minimum bachelor’s in engineering, IT or relevant fields
• Experience in DevOps roles, with leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong problem-solving & communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations is a plus
