How you will contribute

Lead the category planning function in the market

Liaise with category marketing, customer marketing and sales channels managers to develop the best execution, finding the most effective balance between category and customers strategies

Design the market sales strategy and the market activity plan to deliver budget

Be responsible for short, mid- and long-term category sales forecast across channels and customers including monitoring performance and identifying solutions for continued growth

Ensure new product contribution is maximized through end‑up process and monitoring

Lead and coordinate the integrated business planning (IBP) process in conjunction with marketing and sales

Coach and develop direct reports to develop capability in category development

What you will bring

Proven experience of category planning, key accounts and market insights analysis and delivering growth through category leadership

Future-focused mindset, curious about industry trends, digital solutions and innovation for consumers and the ability to translate opportunities into business strategies.

Ability and agility to develop and deliver a strategic plan, measuring and monitoring results and making recommendations in service of achieving growth targets

Experience in integrated business planning (IBP) and a good understanding of how to maximize revenue growth

Demonstrated experience leading and developing diverse teams

Able to influence stakeholders and interact effectively with senior leadership based on a deep understanding of priorities with the courage and resilience to hold an alternative point of view

Education / Certifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is required.

Master's degree (MBA) or relevant post-graduate qualification is highly preferred.

Experience :

Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience within Trade Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Key Account Management or Category Management in the FMCG industry.

At least 5 years in a leadership role, managing and developing teams in a complex, multi-channel environment.

Demonstrable track record of delivering significant commercial growth and market share expansion.

Job specific requirements :

Deep understanding of retail landscape, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics in Mexico.

Proficiency in driving insights and strategic recommendations.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization and with external partners.

Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience.

Fluency in English.
