Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

We partner with enterprise and Fortune 500 clients to build data driven digital products, operating with senior distributed teams across LATAM, APAC, and EMEA. Our delivery model emphasizes strong product thinking, rigorous data practices, and close collaboration with client product and engineering organizations.

This role is part of a long term engagement with a global technology client, embedded within a product focused data science function supporting high impact product initiatives.

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will drive data informed product decisions through advanced analysis, experimentation, and strategic insight. You will focus on understanding user behavior, sizing opportunities, and measuring the impact of product features, with a strong emphasis on messaging experiences and experimentation.

This is a senior, product facing role that requires both analytical depth and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for product leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze user behavior patterns using Python and SQL to uncover insights that inform product strategy and execution.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to messaging features based on quantitative analysis and user behavior signals.
  • Size opportunity areas and estimate the potential impact of product initiatives to support prioritization decisions.
  • Design, analyze, and interpret experiments, including A/B tests, to validate product changes and guide decision making.
  • Translate experimental results into clear conclusions, outlining success criteria, risks, and next step recommendations.
  • Provide long term, strategic guidance by identifying trends and patterns across large scale datasets.
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to prioritize features and enhancements using data driven evidence.
Required Qualifications
  • Senior level experience in product data science, typically 5+ years, with a proven track record influencing product decisions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling, including pandas, numpy, and Jupyter based workflows.
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying and analyzing large scale datasets in environments such as Postgres, BigQuery, or similar.
  • Solid foundation in statistics and experimentation, including A/B test design, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Demonstrated ability to size opportunities and assess feature impact using quantitative and analytical methods.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for non technical stakeholders.
  • Experience applying data visualization best practices to effectively communicate findings.
Nice to Have
  • Experience building and deploying machine learning models using tools such as scikit learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Engineering oriented data science background, with exposure to data modeling, data architecture, or production data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with experimentation platforms and product analytics tooling.
Work Modality

Remote role aligned with US Central Time business hours. Candidates must be able to overlap core CT hours to collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams. Occasional flexibility for global collaboration is expected.
