A leading global technology firm in Guadalajara is seeking a Data Integration professional to monitor ETL workflows, provide support for data integration issues, and collaborate with development teams. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 6 years of experience in ETL support or data engineering roles, along with hands-on experience with Informatica IICS and strong SQL skills. Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily ETL jobs and workflows in Informatica IICS, ensuring successful execution and timely resolution of failures.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for data integration issues, including job failures, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies.
  • Analyze root causes and implement fixes or workarounds for recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy and validate new ETL components.
  • Maintain and update support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
  • Validate data accuracy and completeness across source and target systems.
  • Perform reconciliation checks and elevate anomalies to appropriate teams.
  • Support data governance initiatives by ensuring compliance with data handling standards.
  • Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and application teams to understand data flows and dependencies.
  • Generate operational reports and dashboards to track ETL performance and SLA adherence.
  • Participate in incident management and change control processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in ETL support or data engineering roles.
  • Hands‑on experience with Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration).
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills in English.
