A leading automotive company in San Luis Potosí is seeking an experienced engineer to manage control technologies and automate production processes. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering and has over 5 years of experience in plant planning and automation projects. Proficiency in PLC programming, including S7 Classic, is essential, along with a solid understanding of network technologies. Join us to shape the future of mobility together.

Formación

  • 5+ years of experience in plant planning and/or automation project implementation.
  • Experience in maintaining highly automated production lines.
  • Familiarity with network technology including Ethernet and ProfiNet.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage and complete all control technologies and maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting devices.
  • Analyze equipment downtime to improve preventive maintenance.

What awaits you?
  • Management and completion of all controls technologies and all maintenance activities related such as: Firmware/Software/Hardware updates, changes in programs/logic, network configuration, digitalization and innovative mindset.
  • Ensure the proper connection and parameterization of the PLCs and line equipment to the Shopfloor system.
  • PLC commissioning and management of library updates for standard software.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting for all devices and programming.
  • Support (consulting) the planning department for integrations, installation of equipment, including validations and acceptance process.
  • Analyze the equipment downtime and faults in order to initiate/improve preventive maintenance activities/projects.
What you should bring along?
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in plant planning and/or the implementation of automation projects.
  • Solid knowledge of drive, control, and automation technology.
  • Proficient in PLC programming, preferably S7 Classic and/or TIA Portal, with experience in creating and editing visualizations in WinCC or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with network technology and bus systems, including Ethernet, ProfiNet, and robot programming (KUKA experience is a plus).
  • Experience in maintaining highly automated production lines.
  • Fluent business English.
