A leading staffing agency in Mexico is seeking an experienced Accountant to support client accounts by generating invoices, categorizing transactions, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in QuickBooks. This role demands strong organizational skills, clear communication in English, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently, especially during the busy U.S. tax season.

What You’ll Do

As an Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting client accounts from start to finish, ensuring precision and timeliness across key financial operations. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited):

  • Generating and sending customer invoices
  • Categorizing transactions via bank feeds
  • Coding vendor bills accurately
  • Recording and printing checks
  • Performing month-end close tasks
  • Clearing suspense transactions
  • Reconciling balance sheets
  • Analyzing P&L by customer and by month
  • Preparing detailed financial reports:
  • Balance Sheet
  • Profit & Loss
  • P&L by customer
  • AR Aging Summary
  • General Ledger & Trend Reports

We seek professionals who are organized, analytical, and eager to provide excellent service:

  • Experience: 2–3 years in a full-cycle accounting role
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Technical Skills: QuickBooks experience is a strong plus
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written English
  • Professionalism: Strong time management and task prioritization
  • Client Focus: Experience in customer or client-facing environments
  • Adaptability: Capable of conducting accounting research and resolving issues independently
  • Availability: Limited time off allowed during U.S. tax season (January 15 – April 15)
