A major engineering firm in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate teams towards common goals. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and offers opportunities for travel.

Formación

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in the Engineering or Construction Oil & Gas Industry.
• Advanced knowledge of project documentation and plans.
• Experience leading projects to success.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and control all aspects of the assigned project.
• Ensure financial and technical success of the project.
• Lead Project and/or Functional Managers to meet objectives.

Senior Project Manager

Duties will include, but not limited to the following:

• Manage and control all aspects of the assigned project including design, drafting, procurement, fabrication, testing, financial, schedules, documentation, specifications, and legal
• Has bottom-line accountability for the financial and technical success of the project or area of project responsibility
• Leads Project and/or Functional Managers to achieve project objectives
• Develops a style that motivates others toward common goals
• Complies with all project management functional procedures and practices

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (Process, Mechanical, Structural, etc.) or Construction Management or an Advanced degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in an Engineering or Construction Oil & Gas Industry
• Advanced knowledge of Project Management principles, documents & plans
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Flexible to travel on short notice 20%-50% of travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate preferred
• Experienced in Oil and Gas Industry Process Technologies, is a plus
• MBA degree, is a plus
