A leading automotive company in Mexico City is seeking a professional to manage fleet resources, budget forecasting, and vendor relations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in fleet management, with a bachelor's degree in a related field. Proficiency in Spanish and advanced English is essential. This role offers the chance to enhance process efficiency and contribute to company-wide operational excellence.

Formación

Objective

Ensures the effective management of company vehicles and related assets, securing continuity of services for all users. By anticipating risks, coordinating with suppliers, and improving processes, this position guarantees reliable mobility solutions while supporting cost savings and operational excellence

Main tasks

Budget Planning & Control

  • Support forecasting and budget control activities for rentals, fixed assets, and fleet operations.
  • Monitor actual expenses against budget, identify variances, and propose corrective actions or cost savings.

Vendor & Invoice Management

  • Create and manage purchase orders in line with approved budgets.
  • Review and validate vendor invoices for accuracy, compliance, and contract alignment.
  • Resolve discrepancies and manage communication with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Allocate expenses to the appropriate cost centers.

Asset & Fleet Administration

  • Track and reconcile company vehicles and fixed assets in compliance with accounting policies.
  • Oversee the full asset lifecycle, from infleet to defleet, including replacements, deliveries, and maintenance.
  • Manage vehicle insurance claims, TAG devices, and fuel cards to ensure service continuity.
  • Report vehicles in a timely manner to meet tax and compliance requirements.

Leasing & Rental Operations

  • Ensure timely execution of rental payments and account collections.
  • Verify compliance with internal policies and contract terms for leasing agreements.

Process Improvement & Digitalization

  • Collaborate with Finance and IT to implement digital tools, automation, and e-invoicing solutions.
  • Prepare reports on invoice performance, collections, and asset operations.
  • Identify and execute process improvements to increase efficiency in asset and invoice workflows.

Pool Cars & Mobility Services

  • Coordinate the availability and assignment of pool cars for AMG events, media activities, and mobility loans.
  • Ensure proper planning to support business and marketing initiatives with reliable fleet resources.
Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor´s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar.
  2. Language(s) – Spanish is a must, Advanced English.
  3. Professional experience: 3-5 years in accounts payable/accounting/fleet management.
  4. Previous experience/knowledge required: automotive industry, financial plans calculation, budget control and financial processes, SAP, Excel.
  5. Corporate competences: Agility, Co-creation, Driven to win.

Location: CDMX (Santa Fe). Local contract applies. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
