A leading construction firm is seeking a CFO to lead their financial strategy in Tenochtitlán, Veracruz. Position Purpose:

The CFO will lead the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring strong accounting practices, regulatory compliance, effective internal controls, and efficient collection processes. This role is critical to maintaining the financial health of the company and supporting strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee accounting, tax, and financial operations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Design and implement robust internal control systems to mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Lead the collections function, optimizing cash flow and reducing overdue accounts.
  • Analyze and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and key vendors.
  • Supervise and develop the finance team, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managerial positions in finance, accounting, and internal control, preferably in the construction industry or similar sectors.
  • Proven experience in collections management and cash flow optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) – required for communication with international stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking, leadership skills, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in financial tools and ERP systems.
