A global development company in Puebla is seeking an experienced CAD Designer Senior to lead projects, develop 3D models, and propose engineering solutions. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, advanced knowledge in design tools, and fluency in English. Formación

• 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry in development area.
• Advanced knowledge in DFMEA, DFA, DFM.
• International experience desirable.

DESCRIPTION

• Lead and coordinate complex projects with clients.
• Develop and build parametric 3D data autonomously according to construction standards and propose new ways to increase construction efficiency with the level of quality required by other EDAG offices and our clients.
• Develop concepts sections according to construction guidelines.
• Propose complex engineering solutions according to technology (plastics or sheet metal).
• Creation of 2D drawings and apply knowledge of: GD&T, manufacturing process, injection molding, SMC, thermoforming.
• Train people on the team with less experience, coordinating and reviewing the work done by them.
• Communicate clearly with the client, presenting problems, proposals and possible solutions with associated advantages and risks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor´s degree in Automotive engineering, Mechatronic engineering, Mechanicalengineering or related.
• 10+ year of experience inside the automotive industry in development area.
• Knowledge in doors, console and IP for Interior Trim.
• Advance knowledge in DFMEA, DFA, DFM, GD&T Materials.
• Experience with plastic and metal parts.
• International Experience desirable.
• Experience in developing phase from: Concept until tooling kick off.
• Fluent English.
• German A2 (desirable).
