A leading luxury goods company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting operations and ensure compliance with NIIF/IFRS. You will supervise the accounting team, manage financial closes, and prepare accurate financial statements. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, and professional certification is a plus. This position is located in Veracruz, Mexico.

Formación

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive professional experience in accounting or finance.
  • At least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory position, preferably in multinational companies.
  • Solid understanding and practical application of NIIF / IFRS.
  • Professional certification (CPA, ACA, etc.) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Supervise and coordinate the accounting process, including financial closes.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all accounting transactions.
  • Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements.
  • Monitor compliance with accounting regulations.
  • Oversee calculation and submission of taxes.

  • Establish and supervise financial and internal audit policies.

Descripción del empleo

The purpose of this position is to oversee and coordinate all accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting in compliance with NIIF / IFRS, and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the entire accounting process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely recording of all company accounting and financial transactions.
  • Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Equity Statement).
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with current accounting regulations (NIIF / IFRS).
  • Oversee the calculation and timely submission of local and federal taxes.
  • Coordinate both external and internal audits, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Establish and supervise the company’s financial and internal audit policies and procedures.
  • Develop and refine accounting and financial working papers for the accounting department.
  • Supervise accounting personnel, covering activities such as general accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Profile
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive professional experience in accounting or finance.
  • At least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory position, preferably within multinational companies or those with international operations.
  • li>Prior experience in an external audit firm in a leadership or supervisory capacity is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding and practical application of NIIF / IFRS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, ACA, etc.) is a plus.
